Type of a scam: Travel/Vacations

When trying to book flights w/Delta using a Credit Voucher, we called an 800 number from the internet. A supposed Rep by the name of Eddy (spoke clear English) answered and was able to book reservations through Delta and were told we it would be $200 more than our voucher amount, we had to give them a credit card #. We thought nothing of it at the time since they were the identical flight times/etc that we had seen on the Delta website (we just couldn't book through web since using vouchers - which is why we called). Luckily with in an hour or so we received a Fraud alert from our credit card company. We then did some checking and became suspicious so cancelled the $200 and they closed our credit card out. Later that evening we called Delta (using a different 800 number directly from their site) and talked to a REP and she confirmed it was a SCAM. She then was able to reissue the same flights etc. for us - of course at no additional cost.

HOWEVER, this a.m. we received a call again from the 'Scammer' and he wanted the $200 and when we told NO and that we knew he was a scammer, he said he was going to cancel our tickets. I then called Delta again only to find that he DID hack into their system and indeed cancelled our tickets. We since were able to re-book w/Delta. Needless to say we are quite concerned no only because they attempted to scam us out of $200 but because they are someone able to get into Delta Airlines' system too.
