Type of a scam Travel/Vacation/Timeshare

I was multi-tasking and searched Alaska Airlines phone number on my phone and clicked it when it showed at the top search results. Turns out, it was a scammer who was posing as AA. I called to change my flights and should have clued in when he was asking me some obvious questions. Again, multi-tasking so my fault. Ultimately, he supposedly changed my flights, charged change fees and the difference in fare. When I said I didn't think Alaska charged change fees, he confidently said they reverted back to charging. He also had all the right math for the charge, but then said my card wasn't on file any more. Once he finally sent me my confirmation, with the Alaska logo embedded, I was back on my laptop (vs. phone). I finally saw the actual email addresses used. They didn't get the money and I called the right AA and changed my flights for free (i.e. no change fees). Super annoying. Get a life people.
