Scammed me as well

Where to even start?
1.they offer the same flight with about 30 percent markup than the actual price.
2.no customer service,only mails
3.the airline offer free freezing of ticket,they somehow don't (and blame the airline)
4.tried to change from morning flight to evening (morning costs more),they say the fare difference is 160 usd (again,more is MORE EXPENSIVE!).

A total scam company.
Sometime they say it's the airline,sometimes when confronted with facts they blame some unknown "supplier".

Seriously,if someone gives you their voucher as a gift,stop being friends with that person.

Update (after the company reply) : as if to prove what I said,they are "contacting the supplier" for more than 10 hours.
Would you accept this time when dealing with a flight? Mine is a week from now,so I have some time,but if it would be in 2-3 days I would have to resort to legal actions.

Avoid this company

We asked our wedding guests to gift us flight vouchers thinking they were redeemable against the normal flight price at the time. However you have to book through their website which increase the flight cost massively. A flight I was trying to book that came to a total of £3300 direct with virgin, cost £4800 though flightgift which made the. In hers we had pointless to use. You’re paying £100s just for a price of card with a voucher code on

This is the worst gift to give anyone. Had a $400 gift card, purchased my flights as it was about to expire and thought i was all set. I didnt even use the whole amount so the person who purchased this for me wasted their money. Go to check my reservation with the airline to find I had no seats selected, reached out to flightgift who said i had to go thru the airline, called the airline and had to pay an afditional fee for seat selection so now i have had to put in more money when there was more available on that gift card! Not to mention the fact that the prices thru this site are significantly higher than going directly thru the airline

Update: I was able to make a booking thanks to Dimitris

I've just now been able to make a booking to visit my sister with the help of someone from their instant chat support called Dimitris. It turned out that I misspelt my gift card code, I didn't know that the value code was capital sensitive (I entered all small letters as this always works with my public transport login card). I'm sorry that I wrote the review below as I've now been kindly helped.

Can't book flight

I've entered the value code many times on the payment page, but the value of the gift card is not deducted from the amount payable! I need to fly in two days, so I need this fixed! I have a 200 gift card that I'd like to use!

AVOID THIS WEBSITE! WHAT A JOKE!

This is an absolute JOKE of a website and company. They purposely make it impossible for you to book a flight on your own just so you can work with their "customer service" (which by the way is not a phone number where at least a representative can walk you through it in real time, it's just a sketchy email). Once they give you your total and you think you are all set, they are going to give you some excuse that the price went up $200+ and you have to pay extra. This is such a scam and I will NEVER use this website again. What a waste of time and money. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.

What an absolute rip off! This is a total scam!

I looked at Qantas flights on their website and they wanted $434.00 and Flightgift wanted $1,727.00 - almost 4 times the amount!

My daughter received a gift card and ended up paying twice as much as her friends for the same flight because she had to book through this dodgy website in order to redeem it. Then, the airline changed their outbound flight by 12 hours, so they tried to extend their holiday. To make changes it cost my daughter $318 but only cost her friends $100. Just a disgusting business; what a blatant rip-off!
You may as well take whatever money you’d spend on this scam of a gift card and flush it down the toilet. It’s not a gift for someone, it’s an expensive bloody noose around their neck!

Flight Cancelled - No credit

Flight was cancelled to the next day, Flightgift said that the number of the flight was confirmed and completed their investigation. The flight was confirmed for the next day! It was a 2 day trip! - Also the tickets are significantly marked up, and baggage for an airline like Frontier will not give you free carry on, You cannot use the gift card balance to pay for baggage.

I bought a US$300 gift card for Dec 20 Christmas for my Brother. He went to use it and Flightgift marked up the price of a roundtrip US$870 non-stop United flight from IAH to HNL departing 9/6 returning 9/16 to over US$1,090, a 24% markup. You can test the markup on their website yourself www.flightgift.com, try putting in fare on a regular travel website and then check against Flightgift. There was an article complaining about them in a UK newspaper with markups sometimes 27% higher than other sites.

Our daughters purchased a gift card from the above website. I'm trying to book a flight on their website which is how they instruct you to redeem the gift card. When I enter the information for the trip they say no flights available. I know spirit airlines have flights available and spirit one of the airlines they say they work with on the website. There is no number to contact so I've been trying to book a flight by emailing the above address. I had a couple replies, but now nothing. I've told them to call me and given them the information they asked for to book the flight, but they won't respond anymore. If you can help with this issue please call xxxxxx at xxxxxxxxxx.
