First Key Homes is the account holder for the water and sewer bill. This is required in the lease agreement. They do not pay the water bill, despite collecting money for it. Our water has been shut off twice due to their nonpayment.

In 2019 the water was shut off due to non payment.

This morning our water was again shut off due to nonpayment.

In 2019 we were able to get the issue resolved in a day. Today no one is answering the phones at any of the numbers we have called. Some numbers state that the offices are closed, while one number said there were 112 callers on the line before me.

I actually got a call back from someone regarding another issue and they transferred me to resident services who put in a ticket with the utilities coordinator. I am told they have 24 hours to look into the issue.

In the meantime, our house has no water with two adults working from home and children in remote learning.

Kenneth J Peterson had claimed he was with FirstKey Homes, i had sent an inquiry through trulia and he had contacted me via text message in regards to renting the property. Kenneth had given me a lockbox code via telephone to view the property. i had viewed the property and liked it. Kenneth then sent me an application to fill out from email [email protected] , i had sent in an application with James Kempenar and I’s information. (social security, Picture Of Driver License and employment information) Kenneth had then accepted my application and had requested a deposit sent via UsBank. I had transfered $300 from my account and $600 cash into the account 253 7533 74821 with the routing number 121201694. Kenneth had then told me he would have a representative meet me at the Property of 1005 E Elm Street. Olathe, Ks. At 10am central time on Friday June 7th. On Friday June 7th i had tried to contact Kenneth at 9:28 am to confirm meeting someone in regards to getting the keys for the property. When i had called the number said it was invaild and couldnt go through. At that time i had called FirstKey Homes and they had said they took the property off the market due to scamming issues and that this situation was a scam. They had advised me their wasnt anything that FirstKey Homes could do.
