Covered California sent me this as a Medi-Cal option. After they captured my card information I subsequently phoned them 6 times as it seemed like a scam and they answered 'Hi, Erica' and then hung up every time. The level of cruelty First Enroll showed when individuals are making decisions which impact their lives is unconscionable.

I was researching health insurance options online and entered a phone number on a website. A few minutes later I received a phone call from 6505956640. They claimed to be Danny Beals from New Age Health Solutions and said they would help find a policy for me. They asked questions about current medications, if i would need pregnancy coverage, if i was a smoker, and if I needed substance abuse treatment coverage. They said they found me a group policy/PPO that I could somehow enroll in and assured me I would be covered starting the next day with a 30 day waiting period for scheduled visits only. They gathered my credit card information, billing address, and mailing address. They sent me a link via text message from 7324408807 requesting a signature. They provided me my member ID number and a confirmation number. They emphasized that the confirmation number was confidential and that I should not talk with any other agent unless they gave me that number on their own. They also sent me a contact card for customer service from the phone number 8666542882. After suspecting this was a scam I attempted to call the first phone number, and got a robot saying I had just been added to the do not call list.

Thanks for this review so I can take action this happened to me word for word it seemed fishy after the link didn’t work after I got off the phone no info was there the number they gave did not work they gave me a different name from what it says on my statement
