Got a text saying "Hi Shawntar..." Not my name...saying their a debt collector. I have no idea who fncbink is. Very upset.

First National Collection Bureau, Inc. is sending letters stating I owe money to American General. They claim its an old auto loan. I asked them what car as we do not owe on ours cars. They couldnt answer. Instead told me to send a letter to them requesting the information ! Total red flag ! . I know credit agencies have the information on the services/agencies they are collecting for. The "representative" seemed annoyed that I was asking her these questions and continued to advise me to send in a request for the information of this supposed auto loan! She seemed very shady and didn't know the supposed auto I owed on.
