Be careful of scandalous activity when you go to First Choice Auto Auction and Sales in Anchorage.
We won a bid on a vehicle on May 4, 2025 paid cash and drove off with our as is vehicle and told that we’d be contacted when our title is ready for pickup. During the auction, I was in a bid war with 3 other individuals/companies. One of the bidders we remembered was with Johnny B’s Car Sales, LLC.

I was finally contacted to pick up my title to the vehicle I won at First Choice Auto Auction and Sales in Anchorage on May 4. The title and tag third party agency said we had a problem. The person working didn’t say anything but that we had a problem. There was a “pending transfer” on the auction vehicle I won being made to someone else that was filed with Alaska DMV on May 9, 2025.
It took a while but the document I signed to get the title in my name belonged to Johnny B’s Car Sales, LLC. ?? The same bidder that was bidding against me in the bid war at First Choice Auto Auction and Sales in Anchorage. And Cornelius Mccurry is the owner of Johnny B’s Car Sales.
The person working at the third party tag and title agency said that First Choice Auto Auction and Sales in Anchorage has had numerous reputation that was shady in this matter.
