NAME, the owner of Finishing Touch construction (who is actually not legally licensed in the state of New York to be running a contracting business, I did not find this out until after we lost the money.) was a family friend of ours. He was supposed to be redoing our upstairs. We paid him on August 13th. Never received any word, no work was ever done. I had to threaten to take him to court and call the police to get my money back. There are MULTIPLE other cases against NAME for the same reason. He is a scammer, he steals peoples money and doesn’t finish or even start the job, and he is illegally operating a business in New York State.
