An Ethiopian man going by the name Mike or Jay approach people to ask if they can cash his pay check for him because he has been in the country as a refugee for only 8 months and could not open a bank account since he did not receive is status papers yet. He has been working hard in the construction industry and usually had his foreman cash the check for him but he is on holiday now and need to pay his rent. he takes you to 7210 144 ave N.W. on the second floor where they have an office (Chinese person there) pretending that is the local payroll office. you are handed a check made to your name by the " payroll person " and after cashing it he gives you $100 for your troubles saying that it is way more cheaper then going to a check cashing service and that you helped him a lot. A week later the check bounce and you are stuck with the amount to pay back to the bank

The man drives a Silver Jeep Cherokee and hangs out at the Tim Horton on 82 street / 128 a ave , were he will make contact make small talk with you for a few days and then approach you for help after you have some kind of a report.
