I stayed at Fiesta Americana hotel in Puerto Vallarta two times. The first time I stayed I purchased hotel stay points for future use with a company called KIVAC. The second time I stayed I worked with the same concierge guy and believed that I was purchasing the same thing. When I went to book my stay I found out that he sold me points with a different company. I booked my next stay and had to use points from KIVAC and points from this new company FAVC and pay for one day on my own card. Then I started getting emails about a discount for my annual dues. I had no idea what this was. I called on it and then found out that that this guy actually had signed me up for a 40 year time share and I will be owing money to this hotel for the rest of my days. The contract was on his tablet and in Spanish and later emailed to me in English but I didn't think I needed to re-read it as we had gone through this all before. So they're in it for the long scam and use bait and switch with KIVAC. None of this is ever disclosed. I haven't used the points and am trying to cancel my stay but now they're blowing me off.
