I was contacted regarding a remote position I applied for. I was initially contacted by Felicia Wilson and then passed to Annabel Lankey to interview through Microsoft Teams. NO ONE ever spoke to me in person, but the whole process seemed very legit ... they asked specific questions which I answered and I received a score. They wanted to offer me an Administrative Position and said THEY would be providing all th supplies I need to set up my office for training. They sent me an E CHECK in the amount of $4150.70 which I was told to do a mobile deposit to my bank - that $200 would be released immediately and the rest within a day... no funds were released and they told me that it was probably because of it being the weekend. Monday morning I took the check in person to my bank and confirmed that I was indeed SCAMMED. The check is FRAUDULANT and I was told they may now freeze my account as a result!!
