Fareva Group Reports & Reviews – Page 2 (34)

I had a similar encounter with a Carrol Mitchel today. After a very easy "interview" and lots of non-answers, he announced I was hired at a rate twice what was initially offered. They wanted to send an email check for deposit, prior to any employment contract. Kicked him to the curb after several minutes of back and forth about procedures.

Since I've been contacted by a company like this before I immediately shut down the scam after only a few text messages from Monica Goddard. But the scam is the same if you search Fareva Group on BBB.

I was contacted via email to set up a foogle hangouts account in order to conduct a job interview. Was hired too easily and promised a check for training computer and software would be sent. After looking online for scam reports, found that this is a common scam conducted to get user information and funds sent to company’s “reputable vendor” although the check will eventually be found out as a fake. I did not move forward w/ the process, so I at this point have suffered no personal damages.

Initially reached out over text to schedule a interview on a texting app called Wire. Proceeded with the interview and was hired. They sent me $2000 via email check which I deposited before thinking, but this morning asked me to keep $150 dollars and send the rest back for “software fees” and vanished promptly after I asked for proof of employment.

Just recently went through an 'online' interview process through a bidding process on Freelander.com. Was told to download an app called Wire Messenger to be able to continue the interview process. Played along for two days all knowing that this seemed like the ultimate scam. I have screenshots of all questions and my answers. I will be reaching out to the actual company and letting them know about these scam artists who are using their name to con people out of money. Do not fall for this, anyone who wants money upfront for a WAH job is a HUGE SCAMMER! Do not pay for WAH jobs!

Sent an email to me that I had been recommended for a work from home job and then proceeded to ask questions and sent me a check to deposit in mobile banking even after I kept telling them that I would not be available for two weeks. The sense of urgency to deposit the check made me suspicious.

A gentleman using the name "Steven Harper"' apparently working for French pharmaceutical company Fareva found my information on a job board I posted my resume on. We chatted for awhile but the responses he was sending were clearly a scam (i.e. the responses seemed robotic, grammar was off, the responses didn't quite respond to what I said, etc...). The basis of the scam was that I would work remotely and would have to purchase equipment and software costing around $4,000. They sent a check via email that likely would've bounced a few days after I paid for the equipment, leaving them $4,000 richer and me $4,000 poorer.

Attention Work from home Seekers!!! Dont reply to mobile Texts

Was contacted by mobile text by Mrs.Angela Schmidt Head Admin for Fareva Group to work from home opportunities. They send a four digit verification code to your mobile device to hack your phone and ask for you to provide them with the code. After that they tell you to download google chat for a interview. They ask you to search up [email protected] for the job interview to begin and ask about your experience and last position. This is how they get your email. Once they ask about your experience and last job they tell you you're a good fit for the job. And need your personal details to forward them to HR for hire. They asked for my bank to know what bank I would be using for direct deposit once hired. They also say they'll provide a check to you so you can buy the work from tools, devices, programs etc... Interview questions were also by mobile text only and I had to reply back to the questions by text.

*Careers they offer are Customer Service, Data Entry, System Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Administrative Executive, manager.

FYI: They said they obtain my info from Career Builder.

Hello, I've been contacted with a message through freelancer website after I made a bid on a data entry project, they told me that the need to conduct an interview after I've been selected among others but I need to do that through" wire messenger"

So I did.

They offered me jobs to select from and it wasn't the job I made a bid to.

Also, their offer seems too good to be true, and there is no trustworthy contact information I can rely on.

I've taken images of the conversations we had.

Also, they told me that there a special software they will provide me in order to do my job duties, and when I asked if I am going to pay for it I got no answer.

I have more screenshots of the conversation If you want to see it.

They asked me these questions but I didn't reply to them, and exit the conversation.
