Formal Complaint

I got a call from a Terry Spencer and his message was: There is a formal complaint filed against you with two concerning allegations attached although your background check does not suggest that you would be involved with the activities you are being accused of so we are hoping to have communications with you or your attorney to get your side of the story and allow you the opportunity to contest the allegations prior to legal proceedings taking place. We are also hoping to avoid a summons being served to you at your home or place of employment concerning the matter so i do encourage an immediate return call. i will be available today until about 4pm EST. My direct contact number is: 352-781-1695.

He also called my mother who got very nervous and called me frantic. I am irate that people can do such a thing and have the audacity to think its ok to scary people this way. I am an attorney so I'm able to identify such BS messages but i fear those that don't have the knowledge to understand that its unreal and untrue. I'm happy that there are people on this site reporting their experience and i hope a stop can be put to this nonsense.

A man by the name of Terry Spencer from FAR Mediations out of Cedar Key Florida call me and told me I had a payday loan out and had 2 allegations against me and if I didn’t cooperate it would go to court and the courts could file deragoratory items in my file and asked me if I could make a payment and I did over the phone like a dummy 🙄 but said I had to adhere to the payments and it was like $6,000 I was like What? I don’t have that kind of money and he says well guess the people will be coming to your home or place of business to give you your summons. The phone number he calls me from is 352-477-2563 and his name is Terry Spenser I’ve had 2 payments taken out of my account in the sum of $161.88 from TPS Service with a address in Georgia and phone is (470)854-8279 but yet he calls me from Cedar Key Florida from a phone number that is 352-477-2563. I could use my $$$ back but probably can’t get it back since I really thought I owed the money. He’s pathetic!🙄🤬😡

You're lucky. I had severely delinquent credit accounts so I didn't doubt the same guy (Terry Spencer) who called and told me I needed to set up payments or he was going to have to send my account to court. They did this to me twice over the span of a couple of years while I was trying to get my bills paid off. I only figured it out when the same "company" (F.A.R. Meditations) called again saying I needed to make payments on a delinquent payday loan. I've NEVER taken out a payday loan. I looked up the payments that were coming out of my checking account from TPS Services and realized that they were classified as "religious donations". I got my debit card cancelled and reported them to the BBB and the FTC. Doubt it will do anything. I lost over $5000 to them and there is no way to get out back. Terry Spencer tried calling back today saying that they noticed my payments had stopped abruptly 4 months ago and we needed to get them set up again. I told him I needed to see paperwork first. He said they already sent it. I said Nope. Haven't seen it. He said well we need to set up payments. I said I need to see paperwork before I send ANY more money. He said fine he'll just forward it to the court and I can just discuss it with the judge. I said sounds good and hung up on him. It's about the most satisfaction I can get from the situation.

I got a call from some lady named Corey Parker from this number 8884811495.
She left a message stating she had a complaint of some kind.
I called the number and they wanted me to leave a message and I refused to leave my number.
I feel if a real legitimate would send me legal information in the mail.

They're a scam. I got scammed out of over $5000. If they ever call back, don't give them money.

I received a call from far mediation they said we hav two formal complaints of two pending allegations with your name and ss # we are trying to resolve this matter voluntarily before our client moves forward to file a petition you will be served a summons ethier at your home or employment to appear in court then it said if it was me to press one now and someone will be with you shortly or call back.

So the same Far Mediation Company called me too! Leaving a message saying there has been allegations against me and doing a background check on me and going after Family members just to find me. He called again wanting a payment over the phone talking about thousands of Lawyers Fees and court costs and the amount of the Payday loan...I don't think so!

I received a call from this number with a recorded message claiming that "Our office has received a formal complaint of two pending allegations attached to your name and social. We are trying to resolve this matter voluntarily. Before our client moves forward to file a petition against you. You will be served a summons either at your home or employment to appear in court." And then said if I was me to press one now and someone will be with me shortly or to call their number back.

The name given is not the name attached to the address. They called and asked for my husband. The phone number says Philadelphia but the address they gave me is Florida.
