My boyfriend and I were looking for a golden retriever puppy online and looked at a few different websites and cross checked with Facebook accounts. I was in contact with an individual through messenger business chat about a puppy. We went through and signed a contract and sent proof of purchase of money. Then the person said they couldn’t schedule yesterday which is what was planned and then when I responded they stopped responding and blocked me. My boyfriend went to the address and found it to be a power line address. He talked to the neighbors and they said there was no house address that matched and no retrievers were resided nearby.

I signed a contract to only pay $900.00 for the puppy and air transportation but they wanted me to pay $1490.00 for the pet insurance which we agreed taht we would split the cost and they tried to have me pay another $1300. because something else happened to the crate.

My husband and I made the decision to purchase a golden retriever for me since I have ms and he works a lot of hours we thought we found a reputable breeder we sent 900 to them with assurances that he would be delivered to us via air then we received another email from the air company saying we need to send 1400 for insurance that is 100% refundable so reluctantly we did another email yep more money for a crate another 1100 when we said no it’s the sellers responsibility for the crate there was no more contact they won’t return phone calls I just want our money back it was everything we had
