Type of a scam Debt Collections

I was contacted by phone in about May of 2016 by someone who said they were with Verizon wireless saying that I owed them money for my cell phone. I do not have a cell phone, I only have a land line that I have had from Century Link since 1983. I then began receiving robo calls supposedly from Verizon asking me to call them back. Each robo call came from a different long-distance phone number and started at 7:00 am and going through 10:00 pm 7 days a week. At one point I called back on the number they provided. The call was answered by a Korean woman who claimed to be from Verizon and demanded money for the "cell phone" account. I explained I do not have a cell phone and asked her what the cell phone number is that she was calling about. She gave my home phone land line number that I've had since 1983 with Century link. I asked for her supervisor and an Indian man came on the phone demanding money. Since that time I have not answered any calls. None of them said "Verizon" on the caller ID. I tried to call Verizon at their number on the internet, but Verizon was on strike. My phone company, Century Link, got me number for the West Coast Verizon which was not on strike. I spoke with billing and the fraud department. Verizon said they do not list me as a customer and they have no record of any account for me. Most recently, again today, 22 June, I received a robo call from an unidentified caller ID number 719 423 6021, which the woman said was a collection agency. Last week I received a letter from Verizon at 455 Duke Drive Franklin, TN 37067 indicating that I owe $145.39 on acct number 067318453500001 saying my account had been suspended due to a past due balance. If I called them at 1 866 451 1237, they would accept 90% payment via check or credit card -"saving" me $14.54 and reconnect my service. They threatened to report information about my account to credit report. This "offer" to pay $130.85 will expire in 15 days from the date of the letter dated 5/28/16 and arrived at my new PO Box last week. The letter indicated it was from the Verizon Wireless Customer Financial Services. I do not have any account with them and don't even get cell phone service where I live.
