Fake Sweepstakes Reports & Reviews (2)

Received a call stating I won a sweepstakes. In order to receive delivery I needed to prepaid the delivery fees.payment was to be made in the form of 2 Vanilla Visa prepaid cards. After much discussion about the use of these cards, I was guaranteed it would not be accessed until delivery was given the green light. I had a suspicion this was a scam but feel for it anyway. After giving the gift card numbers to "Mark", it all had to go through a process. Oh to my surprise a couple hours later everything is good to go. Except that the envelope with the check needs a special barcode stamp. The fee for this is $3600. I gave refused so far and been very careful about personal information. They are now calling several times a day. I questioned them about the funds already given as it was to be used for delivery fees. I monitored the card numbers and it was spent on Google play , Forever 21, and Fashionnova. Crazy, but I kinda am enjoying messing with them at this point. I did receive an email full of government type logos as well as BBB. Would be thrilled if these guys were caught!!!!

- Macon, GA, USA

received text saying I won a visa card with 10.5 million on it. I was asked which airport I would like to pick my prize up at. I then found that I had to send them 250.00 on a prepaid card to cover admin costs.
