This company sends out an email that attempts to get the recipient to file their annual Florida business report through this company for $99. The State of Florida allows you to easily file your annual business report through the State's website, Sunbiz.org. The email that is sent by Fortress Compliance closely matches the one sent by the State of Florida. The similarity between the emails could cause a small business owner to pay this company needlessly.

Predatory mail, looking like federal OSHA form that “needs” to be filed. The form they reference is only needed for business that have employees and is simple and free to fill out online. Without elevated knowledge of phishing identification, the average new business owner would believe they need yo pay the $295 to OSHA, when in reality they are just going to mail you the OSHA manual, which can be obtained online, for free.

A letter was received advising of a 'FINAL NOTICE' requesting an 'IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED' from the Home Warranty Department for the property's home warranty at (address referenced) secured by (mortgage company referenced) may be expiring or may have already expired. In calling (1/13/24) the referenced number (1-877-670-3352) to ask questions about the received letter the man that answered did not want to answer any questions (said I was being rude) and used scare tactics to sell me the product/home warranty coverage. The man referenced working in his garage and could hear a dog barking in the background. Did provide him with my credit card information, due to the scare tactics used, but will be contacting my credit card company about this matter.

I purchased services from Vista Logos to have them create a logo for an LLC and I paid to have this logo copyrighted. Now, approximately a year later, I am receiving calls and texts threatening that if I don't renew my logo (which I'm not using) that it will lead to legal consequences such as an infringement penalty of $75,000.

They stated my ownership of the logo has expired and I have three options: 1) Pay $352 to get a closure letter, 2) pay for a 5 year ownership or 3) pay for a lifetime ownership of $857. Unless I pay them, they'll move forward with a lawsuit with a penalty. of $75,000

The logo is not currently on any site and is not being used.

I hired the company to do my logo for 35.00. Once I received the files they told me it costs 800 to get it registered for a copyright. Today they came back and said that another business in NC has the same name and it will now cost 1665.00 to file another form to protect it. They discounted that to $550. I said I wish to cancel but now they say it costs $17000.00 to cancel. Some of this is in the attached email thread, some is by text. The odd thing is that Alex Marshall, who was supposedly the Assistant Manager of the design company is now claiming to be the Senior Paralegal and working directly with the US Patent and Trademark Office - he is the one asking for more $. I checked trustpilot and this behavior seems to be a thing with them https://www.trustpilot.com/review/logodesignscenter.com. Here are your files, we now need more $ to file them, then months later they come back and say there is a company in NC that has the same name (in my case there was not, as I checked with the state) and they are wanting more $ to file additional forms.
