We received a Final notice in the mail for a new house we recently purchased. It states that it's an important matter regarding our property. It was listed in my name and stated my address, but it said it's secured by your current lender, which is classified for Privacy. It stated it's their FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY ME, but I've never received this letter before. It has a Home owner ID with an attached allocated waiver fee.

Received a letter in the mail stating final notice and that it is important that I contact the office at 888-404-4504 to avoid delays in coverage. This is now the third time I have received a letter like this. I had a feeling this was a scam but called the number anyway. The first time I called, I asked the man what date this warranty was started, and the man stated a date in which I did not even own my home. I then proceeded to tell the man that this is a scam, and the man began yelling and cursing on the phone. I then called back to speak with the "program director" Vicky Mercer that was listed on the letter, but the man stated she was busy and could not speak. I then proceeded ask the man the same question I asked the man earlier, what year did this warranty start? The man stated he did not have that information. This is really disturbing as this letter could scam the older generation. This needs to be stopped as I see there are multiple other complaints about the same letter. Please please shut this down ASAP!

Received a letter in the mail from "Home Warranty Division Private & Confidential" with FINAL NOTICE listed. Given it being a letter, my name and home address were used. It is a letter saying they've been trying to contact me and that I have a "warranty" that is expiring. Wanting me to contact them immediately. The same phone number is placed in multiple parts of the letter. The writer is named "Andrew Thompson" with his title being Program Director. In the fine print it mentions "Superior Home Protection" and "Warranty Global Group".

It Stated that it was a warranty replacement notice and gives a phone number to call for registering for continued protection… It implied that I had some sort of warranty on my home that needed to be renewed and registered in order to avoid costly repairs and damages. I received a letter from an entity called Home Warranty Division. There is no return address. It says "Final Notice" at the top. It says in big bold letters RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. "It is important that you contact our office at 1-888-404-4504 upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage before 2/12/2025. This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty at (lists my address in all capital letters, which tells me it's mass produced) assured by (lists my lender in all capital letters) may be expiring or has already expired. Our records indicate that you have not contacted us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date. Please call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you about activating your home warranty." (This raises suspicion because first they say my warranty is expiring, and then they say I haven't activated it.) "Failure to call and prevent potential lapse in coverage could result in you being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate a warranty on your home before it's too late.
