I responded to a post I saw on Facebook. They presented themselves as a consumer support service offering a card service preloaded for grocery items. You just had to apply and meet the requirements to receive your card. And of course I call and give the information required. They did ask for social security number but I refused to give that out over the phone. They seemed to push back on that which was red flag number one. Although once they thought they were going to lose me suddenly it wasn’t that much of an issue anymore. I was approved for a grocery card reloadable and That it will be sent In the mail. It’s been over a month and never received the card. I decided to call Juan Gonzalez back (as he told me originally that he would always be available to take phone calls or at least return them in a timely manner. Suddenly he had a huge staff working for him and that he wouldn’t be able to get back to me any longer. When I call it’s always a different person. And. I also found out that I had an insurance policy started when I already have insurance with a different company.. I’m not sure to what end this was for. But it definitely was a scam.
