Someone name Jewel called me on Friday April 11, 2025 saying that I have unresolved debt on a Bank of America Total Visa Card totaling the amount of $3,578.85 that was opened in 2015. I have never banked with Bank of America, and have not had a visa credit card in my name in 7 years, and it was not with Bank of America. The Visa card I had was paid off, and closed in 2019. She said that I had a judgement against me, and was going to have the debt turned over for garnishment if I didn't pay the $3,578.85 or the $2,000.00 settlement she was offering me. I asked for something in writing and they sent an email, which came from an email. This lady had the last 4 numbers of my social security number. When I got the letter, it said the debt was from The Bank of Missouri, not The Bank of America, as she stated on the phone. According to her date of 2015, this debt would be past the 7 year statute of limitations, and I have received nothing in the mail to prove this debt is legit. There is nothing on my credit report, and I know for sure I do not have or owe this debt.

She has now called again on Monday April 15, 2025 twice to threaten me again. I do not owe this, and would like them to stop contacting me.

Please advise me on what to do moving forward and look into this company who is forging this debt.
