Type of a scam Online Purchase

Emerson Reyes posted a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 on FB Marketplace for 1/2 it's value($24.5K). Says he is selling for a friend, Melody, who just went through a divorce. He is located in TX(?), she is a Flight Attendant in FL(?). Sale is to be handled through ATL Auto Transport in Tampa, FL.(atlvehicletransport.com) They will setup transport once $$$ is put in an escrow account via a wire transfer. Everything looks legit, but Melody is a high pressure sales person, the address for the car transport doesn't show them to have an office there and the phone number isn't legit.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Mussara Nir has several items listed on Facebook marketplace. One is a 2018 Bennington pontoon boat for $13,200. When contacted he says he is listing for his sister a [email protected]. When contacting Jessica she states the boat is being stored by Empire auto Transportation in Montgomery AL. She goes on to say that empire won’t allow customers in their storage unit. Then there is attempt to sign an escrow agreement and empire will hold the money in escrow until the boat is delivered. When I asked to talk to someone from empire I go a call from the company. When I voiced my suspicions the person hung up and the number is now disconnected. Mussara also has an rv he is listing for sister, Barbra Baker.
