I received a Message on Messenger about a product I was selling on a Local Yard sale page. He wanted me to email his wife who was interested in the product but wasnt on facebook. She said she would send me a cashiers check for the amount plus $50 for holding the item. She wanted me to take it off the site. I informed her that I made the item so any other orders I would just make. She said then could I have 2? She said she sent the cashiers check and a mover would arrive to pick the item up. I checked messenger and saw that the husbands message had been removed due to being flagged as spam or abusive. I sent her a message saying if she wanted the product that she could pay me through Paypal or Messenger, that I would send the check back once it arrived because I was sure it was a scam. The check arrived today and its for $1800.
