I received a Priority Mail 2-Day package from Burban Reserve Inc., 21524 Hillside Ave, Queens Village, NY 11427 (Tracking #9505511371415721714591). Inside was a letter titled Whole Foods Market Customer Service Evaluation Assignment and a check for $1,793.62. Instructions told me to deposit the check, buy $1,300 in Foot Locker gift cards, then send photos of the codes to [email protected] or text 828-316-1633, promising a $300 bonus. This is clearly a fake check / gift card scam using Whole Foods’ name without authorization.

Priority Mail, USPS package arrived. Included was a letter claiming to be while foods market customer service evaluation assignment. Asking to buy $750 in Foot Locker gift cards. Check enclosednfor $1793.62. Instruction is to buy the cards, photograph the front and back of the cards with pin number clearly shown. With "REMINDER: At any store chosen, under no circumstances should you acknowledge that you are evaluating their services"

An email was sent with information about being a surveyor. The letter was sent to my home asking me to use the cashiers check to $1300 worth of gift cards for Foot Locker. Then I needed to take a picture of the front and the back of the cards and submit them via email with identifiable information such as card and pin number. My portion of the check was $450.00
