The scammers have at least two Facebook pages. Family Ferrets and Heritage Ferretry. The also use a website that takes the payments for shipping/transporting the ferrets. $500 was sent for 2 ferrets through Apple Pay. $300 was sent through their fake website for a refundable $300 deposit.

They said the ferrets were shipped but stuck at the port because they need to pay an additional $500. But since they didn’t pay the $500 in time, they needed and additional $200. They said the animals would die if they didn’t get the money soon enough.

Someone messaged me through Facebook messenger and asked if I was buying a ferret from these people. He sent me private information that the scammers sent him with my daughter’s name on it. So they can have proof they were a legitimate company.

DO NOT BUY BIRDS ON FACEBOOK!!! They seem legit, call you message you videos and pictures. They’ve even gone far enough to have a fake Air Flight Pet website to “transport” your bird. IT’S ALL A SCAM!!! Then they tried to get me on the transportation insurance that was needed cause my birds were “quarantined” during shipping. PLEASE don’t get screwed like I did! They are very good but it’s all to take advantage and take your money!
