I was approuched by a woman on face book ask me if I could use some money and she would put it on my cash a pp card I had to record a video saying that it was real and legit . I believed them gave them my password to my Gmail they locked me out of my facebook I Caint access it at all they changed my phone number on the account . Now they are posting as myself and asking people that I know to trust and give up there infor to hack them as well they are defacing my name

Someone took over my Facebook account by changing the email address and phone number on my account. They are now contacting my FB contacts for id and credit card information. I cannot take back the account or notify my friends of the fraud. The email was changed on my account to [email protected]

I do not know this person. Facebook support does not exist. I have attempted to contact them in 4 separate emails with no response.

Please advise me on what else I can do to protect my friends.

I posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace to sell something and was contacted by someone through Messenger asking me to text them a verification code that they sent through Google Voice Typing to prove that the ad I posted was real and not a scam. So stupid me! I texted them the code they sent and now they have my phone number. They proceeded to say that there was a verification problem and wanted another cell phone number. That's when I realized it was a scam. I blocked them and contacted AARP fraudline and am trying to report it to Google since the code was sent through Google Voice typing. Want to make sure they are not opening accounts linked to my number. I looked up the phone number and it is linked to at least 12 people so I imagine they are using other people's numbers and linking them to accounts.
