Scammer (Cheryl Flores) advertised on Facebook Marketplace for sale of a 2017 Mercedes Class B RV for $18,600. Once contacted the scammer said she was advertising for her sister and gave me her sister’s email address ([email protected]) to contact. I made the contact and a Cynthia Davis wrote me back and sent multiple pictures of the vehicle. However, Ms. Davis wrote another email and clarified the vehicle was not in State and she would use Payward Escrow Shipping, Inc. to send the vehicle. At this time she wanted personal information. I called the Better Business Bureau in Anchorage and discovered Payward Escrow was not a legitimate service and had numerous complains. There was no VIN number for the vehicle provided and advertisement for vehicle was removed from Facebook Marketplace.

Vehicle has since been removed from Facebook Marketplace.
