I purchased a "Ohio approved online drivers ed" course through Groupon for Expertskills.org. My son started the online course and completed the test and was informed that he had passed. He was then told that he would need to purchase his certificate for proof for the in person driving course he was signing up for. He paid for the online certificate on January 28, 2026. After a bit he reached out to them through their webpage - they have no phone number listed. They emailed him a copy of his certificate, which was submitted to the driving school. The driving school let us know that it was not an approved certificate and didn't contain the required OEC number. I have reached out to Expert Skills and Groupon, but neither have refunded the money or fixed the issue. I have also reached out to my sons bank to get his money back.
