This is fraudulent and a scam that is used to request money from the booker to change the booking. There are no messages through expedia.com saying that anything has gone wrong. This is completely a scam and please take action against them. The fact they have compromised Expedia to find the information that allows me to use my tickets in the first place and access my flight means they have my address, emails, and phone number as well. These are hackers and scammers using very sophisticated means of phishing.

But they had my reservation and said they could reissue my ticket but I had to pay the price difference for the new ticket.
This started Aug 25, 2024 when I bought my ticket from Expedia. We decided to upgrade to First class and then we had to purchase from Lufthansa because it wasn’t possible through Expedia.
I called and neither Expedia or Lufthansa said there was no such ticket. It became a big mess. Then I finally January 11,2024 got that settled with Lufthansa. Then we had to cancel due to family emergency. That’s when the trouble began. The number I called for help turned out to be my first scam.
Sam at 3236079348. I had to pay$2870.00 to get the ticket reissued. Which I did on my Visa. I was to call back on Dec11,2024 to get the new ticket. But when I did I got no one. Could not reach Sam
Then I guess I got another bad number and this time it was Tyler at CheapO Air 8339854771. He said I was scammed on the first payment and I needed to talk with my bank re Visa charges. But he could help me. I had $12,000.00 into these 2tickets. So of course he said you have paid so much for these tickets but I will be able to reissue them. Price difference had to be paid. He had my itinerary and all the information about my tickets so I paid the difference of $2498.80. Supposedly to Lufthansa. After I got a text from Chase that they denied my payment but I said it was ok. They told me I had to write a letter to debate the first charge. But I thought the 2nd one was legitimate.
Then I checked my Visa statement. And it paid to Lufthansa Airline UTF. I was suspicious so I called the number on that charge and it was not Lufthansa. The scammer Edwick8666026934. Reference ID 952717 his ID 9022. He had my visa number, my address, my phone, birthday dates. So he was to send me an email with all the information. I got no email. New ticket would come in a week.
I called Chase Visa and they declined payment and canceled my card.
Then I started getting phone calls to reverse the payment back to them. So they could send me my ticket that was already issued. But by this time I realized it was all a scam. Both scammers often said you have paid so much for this ticket we need to fix this.
In the meantime because we were no show and did not cancel because we thought it was fixed. We lost a $10,082.74 ticket.
