I received a text message noting my resume had been found on a jobsite and it noted the job role, which was inline with roles I'd been looking for. The text message stated if I was interested, to email [email protected] noting my interest. I did that and received a follow up email that seemed legitimate, it explained that this step was part of the process to identify candidates for further review. There were four questions regarding how I approach different situations. I answered the questions and responded back to the name of the person who had identified themselves as the HR Manager, James Turner. This was all occurring over a weekend, which I thought odd, but I engaged, desperate for a job and it seeming legitimate. Within minutes of my responding with the answers to their questions, I received a job offer. What caught my attention this time, was that the title of the job role was different and that it stated I needed to buy equipment... from there, I did some digging. I did find a company website with the name "Executive Administration, Inc." rather than Exec Admin Inc. I emailed them at "[email protected]" to see if it was a legitimate offer, but have not heard back. The email domains are different; the one from the potential scammer was @execadmininc, and from the site that looks legitimate, it's @execadmin.
