Saw an ad on the Shop app for a store that was going out of business due to the owner retiring after her husband passed. Ended up ordering ten pieces of jewelry, and 10 days later, the order still has not fully processed despite the funds being removed from my account at the time the order was placed. Figuring the holidays could have caused a delay, I decided to wait it out. After sending an email to the company, I decided to do a little research. Obviously, I should have done the research prior to making the order. Now, I’m out $100 and sad that I won’t get the jewelry I ordered for myself. I wasn’t expecting great quality, despite the language used on the shop, but I was expecting to at least receive it.

I should mention, the story told on the shop’s website pulled at my heartstrings. That should have been the first sign to not fall for a scam. Bummer.
