I inquired about 4X4 truck listed on the Facebook group page of used cars under $900.00. A dealer named Jake's Matt Humpson replied that the truck that was for sale was located in Denver Colorado and was $500.00 down and 5 payments for the rest of the $3000.00 wanted for the truck sale. I replied with can I come pick it up in Denver Colo and I would have the full payment for the truck in hand. He replied that it was 7-and-a-half-hour drive one way, and he could have it delivered to my house in York ne if I paid $300.00 to a delivery driver for gas to deliver the truck to me, at a scheduled date, which is March 2nd 24. The payment cost of the truck was to be paid to the delivery driver at the date of the delivery. I sent his supposed driver the $300.00 payment via Walmart-to-Walmart money transfer. A few days later I asked for a picture of the truck engine, and he sent me a picture of the wrong size engine, that was advertised as a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 4x4 powered by a 5.3l gas engine. The first picture he sent was of a 4.7L i Force engine. I replied that the engine advertised said 5.3l V8 gas/flex fuel powered engine. He then sent me a 2nd picture of a 5.3l diesel engine and after I questioned him about it, he said that the engine in the truck to be delivered was a 5.3l diesel. I refused the deal, and he inquired if I was interested in a 2012 GMC Sierra 2400HD 4x4 that cost $500.00 more than the original truck inquired about. I said I'd like to see the pictures of it, interior, exterior and engine, which he promptly sent. Same deal as the original deal but with an end cost of $3500.00 to be paid in full on delivery of truck. Yesterday I asked for a vehicle history and their inspection report and vin number and was told that information could not be sent without me making a down payment for $200.00, then he would send me the information I requested. I said the deal was for full payment in cash at the time of delivery paid to the delivery driver. He refused to send any information without a down payment of $200.00 being sent to him as a down payment for the truck. After a lot of messages back and forth I was ready to get the truck deal done with, and I asked for an account number and routing number to send my down payment to. He asked if I would send it via Walmart-to-Walmart money transfer and I refused, stating I would only send it to his bank account from my bank account, the communication ended for a few hours, then he said he only would accept a Walmart-to-Walmart money transfer. I refused again and he didn't contact me back before 9:48 pm and said again to go to Walmart and transfer the payment to him, but he gave me the same Walmart location to send my down payment to as the same name and city/state I sent the delivery payment to. I told him no again because it was a little after 10 pm and our Walmart is only open till 11 pm with the front desk services closed at10 pm. I then told him the deal was off and I wanted him to send me back the delivery payment via Walmart-to-Walmart money transfer and sent him my full name and address to send my money back to me at the York Nebraska location and I would notify him when I received it. And I was done with him and his deal. He sent me a please send me the down payment and I said I would have to get back with him tomorrow afternoon between 2PM and 3PM because I have a heart doctor's appointment in Lincoln Nebraska at 9AM and wouldn't be back home till then. He's refusing to send me back the $300.00 delivery payment, and the trucks not supposed to be loaded up and delivered until March 2nd 24. He took my money by theft of deception and now is refusing to pay me back. I told him the time and day I would next be available, and he scheduled nothing, just stopped communicating with me for the night. I told him the next time I would be available to talk about it again and lied about the appointment in Lincoln Nebraska to have time to report this incident to you hoping we could catch him if I just stung it along enough for you to contact me and we could have a chance to catch him. I have all are communication on my phone and would gladly give them to you if you want them. I was also thinking of contacting the Federal Trade Commission because according to their website laws it is illegal to offer or display a used vehicle without a buyer's guide posted in plain sight that has all of the vehicle history and vin number available to be seen by everyone who looks at the vehicle. He and someone named Dave Wayne Bergman said it was against their company rules to send anyone the information and vin number that I requested. I believe that is a federal trade law that his company rules are breaking by not disclosing the information and vin number I was requesting. PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP for more information at ********************* my phone doesn't ring anymore so the only way to contact me is through gmail.com sorry, and by the way I was not trying to purchase the truck alone l have co owner that I was in constant contact with here in York,,he's my best friend for the last 20 years and he was actually him that produced the delivery payment money . I have recites and all the messages sent bank and frothed between us.
