Dubious business behaviour
I am making use of my right to cancel within 14 days of the purchase of online purchases, and I am doing this in full agreement with UK law, where uMobix and ERSTEN GROUP LTD are located.
Nevertheless, uMobix is denying me my right of cancelation, with reference to their return policy that requires to provide a reason for cancelation, and require this reason to be outside of their self-declared list of non-acceptable reasons.
This is in violation of the law of the country they are located and operate in. UK law explicitly allows a consumer to cancel an online purchase without giving any reason. See for details on the legislation: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/contents
I therefore have to warn sternly against this company that shows already in this simple case that they are not willing to abide to the law.
Consequently, this raises very important concerns about their ability and willingness to treat private data in a confidential and lawful manner. Note that their software WILL give access to ALL of the data on the devices that they monitor with their software.
