He is now operating as silvertrailsstable.com in Mission TX same BS scam. I talked to him on the phone, supposed to be Luke Kellogg...yeah right with a weird french accent.
Here's a video link he sent
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1akdD5VCrq2_QnvjboyMWbzpTocsagQZJ/view?usp=drive...

knew something was off-the Frisian Horse called Jackpot is the same horse from overseas(Europe) for sell on the European site and it was like $40,000+ and they were going to sell him for $8,000? not a chance also the wording was almost word for word. Its to bad because there were a lot of nice horses for sell-if only there is a real legit sight. Horse people are not that stupid-we all know most of these horses and who they are sold by. ps no videos of said interested horses on there site and tried to look up farm/location on google=no farms

I found the same thing as many, evidently. Asked me to pay 1/2 and fill out a contract but wouldn’t call me back about a horse, would only text. Pushing contract and ship date. Thank God that gut feeling kept coming back that it seemed weird. I asked a friend who is a well known trainer and when she said she’d never heard of this supposed esteemed ranch I also knew that was a red flag. I’m grateful I came upon this site and many have posted! Now I can move on to a reputable seller. I hope the law will catch up with this person.

Had to admit, well I feel like a fool, he got me I had some doubts like others mentioned . price, hauling charges , why a Clinton Anderson ambassador would be in a video but I bit Then he emails me say horse will be shipped in two days an would need $3000 to insure horse during transit, never mentioned anything about this before, so I told him you sucked me in once but that's it you [censored]

Charlie, Thanks for your post. I found Barry's website a few days ago and conversed with him by email about a horse on his web site. I just spoke with him and asked to see his contract. And he said he wanted the deposit by Zelle. The conversation felt off, I decided to check for bad reviews. And, I'm seeing quite a few here.

SCAMMER! Initially he seemed legit. Went by the name Barry Walters. He pushed for 80% deposit (transfer) of money prior to delivery of the horses, to an account for Tambra Louis. We had an odd feeling, did more research & did not transfer our $$. Thank God for gut instincts!

I had the same experience with Equestrian Dream Ranch.

The prices were also much less than most other horses of that caliber.
After first email from Barry Walters
I was a little concerned about how the reply was written and the questions that were asked.
The videos were all sent via Google attachments and different from first shown.
The other odd thing was that each horses videos were shown very differently with different riders and areas.

My experience is the same and just days before the last post. I contacted them about child safe horses for my son who is special needs. I did not put the pieces together until reading these other complaints. I said I would drive up to see the two horses I was interested in and wanted to make an appointment. He then said I needed to make a deposit to hold the horses. Bitcoin. Zelle. Wire transfer. I was only planning to buy one. He wanted 60 percent advance on both horses. Combined it was more than the price of one horse.

I believe I experienced the same thing today (11/15/21) except I stopped right before sending any money because something was off. He just seem to keep pushing and never really answered questions directly or in a way that made any sense. I found postings on this site and although I m crushed that the horse I fell in love with will not become mine, at least I was able to stop before losing 10,000.00
He just kept asking for my details like name, address, etc. He is formerly known of as Daniel Howell. He apparently steals pictures of real horses with their trainers/owners and uses them on his carefully manicured website, Equestrian Dream Ranch, ficticously located in Oregon.

Scammed for purchase or a horse and shipping. Zelled money. He asks for wire, cash, zelle, bitcoin, cryptocurrency.
He has same fake advertisements on 2 different websites, screenshot attached for example. I believe he is a computer guru out of the country, he sounds indian or modde eastern
