A letter was sent to my grandma notifying her that she was a victim of cyber hacking. Her personal information including address and social security number had been compromised by an attack on her medical technology servicer, Medtronic. Medtronic is not affiliated with her provider and EPIC was requesting her personal information in order to offer what they presented as extra cyber protection services in an attempt to remedy the incident. This is a scam as confirmed by her therapy provider. Others have reported EPIC on BBB.
