I got a text message from someone who is pretending to be someone for a company I just contracted with for work. (this is the second time, second company) they text saying hey I have a job, when you text back they are like oh I'm on a meeting but I can text then they want you to go to a store and buy gift cards for a presentation they are doing. if you decline they push back saying they are short on time and local stores have them so you don't' have to go far its easy... then they want you to give them the pins and numbers of all the gift cards you just bought claiming you will reimbursed... seems to happen after I do a linkedin update and they specifically target jobs where I have identified that I am 'contract' with. I was contacted by text stating my resume was found on indeed and there was a position they were looking to fill with bio mechanica. The position paid $26 and was remote. I was told that the interview had to be done over teams chat. They asked my birthday and my full name. They asked what kind of animal i would be. Then they offered me the position without telling me what it was and set a time to talk tomorrow. I was also told i would be sent money to buy up to date office equipment. When i informed this person that i now know it's a scam they just stopped responding.

Reply once you get this so an interview can be scheduled. Thank You!"
