Received a job offer via text. I'm stating that I've been recommended by several people due to my resume on indeed it's barely convincing but as long as you always do a little bit of due diligence you'll find out it is a scam. There are employers to reach out, but I don't even have my number showing on my indeed account so then being able to text me, was not from my indeed And we can find out scams very quickly by putting them in Google so make sure if You ever don't feel 100% comfortable that something is legit whether it be a job offer or anything else just please do your due diligence and search Google put in a different couple ways and make sure to follow the results that have threads such as Reddit, Quora, etc.

On Friday February 14, 2025, around 9:39 a.m., I received a scam text imessage from [email protected] criminally impersonating Kellogg Foundation stating, Good morning, I am Human Resources Customer Service Representative from Kellogg Foundation. Your resume has been recommended by several online companies, and as a result, our company, is offering you an online job. This is a long-term remote part-time position where you will help businesses update data, increase likes and improve their visibility. The working hours are felexible, and you can earnin between $50 and $500 per day. There is a 3-day trial period, after which you will recieve a $688 rookie bonus. Payment will be made instantly via Paypal and Cash App upon completion of the task. Job requirements: over 20 years old familar with basic mobile or computer operation. If interested, please send a text to +13477657129. This number correspond to the following counties or cities in New York: Yonkers, White Plains, Inwood, Bronx South Richmond Hill, Middle Village, Heights, Rego Park, Oakland Gardens, Saint Albans, Long Island City, Whitestone, Maspeth, East Elmhurst, Richmond Hill, Far Rockaway, Woodside, Bayside, Little Neck, Jamaica, Arverne, Forest Hills, Brooklyn, Kew Gardens, Staten Island, NY Elmhurst, Cambria Heights, Queens Village, NY South Ozone Park. It is unclear of actual text message came from New York.
