I was reached via text message by a woman name Tiara Evans for a customer service position for Aveanna Healthcare. She told me to download the Signal app to communicate with the HR manager Jameson Lusby. I downloaded the app and conducted an interview through the app with Mr. Lusby. I was offered the job and was sent a very questionable offer letter. The letter had the wrong position listed initially and even had Mr. Lusby's name spelled incorrectly. After further communicating with Mr. Lusby, he stated he would send me a funds to obtain the equipment so I could work from home. The check came in two days and was issued by Leeper & Associates in Orland Fl. I googled the company and called them to see if they were affiliated with Aveanna Healthcare. The woman I spoke with confirmed there financial were hacked and the scammers are issuing checks in their name then asking people to send them money. Mr. Lusby was very rude when communicating and would stopped responding when I asked questions about the check. I provided them my address and bank information for "direct deposit". I will be closing my bank account and now I have to move since I don't know who these people are and what the motive is.
