The scammer said that he was a manager for a manufacturing company and asked questions about work history. The way he spoke "Do you understand" and only reply okay or yes. He asked for name mailing information to send me a check to get materials. After it was over I did research for a couple hours and I block him on the telegram app and blocked the person that sent the text about the job below.

I received a text message from a Janet Edwards saying she saw my profile on EDD and was interested. I was immediately given an interview by Richard Smith on Skype via chat and “hired” on the spot.

This company reached out to me via Text Message, saying they received my Resume from Indeed, and that I needed to install Telegram for an interview. I immediately got an interview with the Vice President of HR Tony **********. After a quick interview, I was told the information was sent to the head office and to wait for 5 to 10 mins for a response. Got the response back that I got the Job. Tony explained that they would send a check that I would deposit into my bank and use it for equipment and software purchases to set up my home office. When confronted with questions about legitimacy, he could provide nothing other than a response of "This is 100 percent real and legitimate"

Do not work with this company they tell u your gonna be hired full time then next thing u know u can’t deposit your checks when u want to this been happening the last 3 weeks. The lady that hired me has poor communication they never told me they would start sending checks because they systems was down till the last second. I been denied multiple times trying to cash my check and they have not told me why I’m going to sue this company

I applied for a work at home job with Coast Professional Inc., in regards to an employment ad on SimplyHired.com. I got interviewed by Coast Professional, and they did background checks and told me to come pick up my computer for the FEMA work at home job that paid $15/hr + 4.24/hr for wellness benefits. I picked up the computer at their Geneseo office, and I was treated like I was helpless by Sarah Q.

I figured she did this because I have grey hair, and am 61. I am highly competent and computer literate from many years as a software engineer, but this is the worst employment situation I have ever encountered by far. After picking up the computer a week goes by and I have still yet to get a training start date. Keep in mind I gave my 2 week notice when they told me to pick up the computer. I email them about my concern about my start date, and my current job only having 1 week left, and I receive a call from Jeff Jopling telling me I didn't get the FEMA job after all, but they can offer me a job for 13.72/hr + 4.24/hr for wellness benefits and with this job I won't be trained by Coast professional, but by the company this job is for. I am now offered a job that pays less than the job I am leaving, and feel forced into taking this job. It sure sounds like bait and switch to me. I send Jeff Jopling an email voicing my dissatisfaction with Coast Professional, and tell him I'm not interested in the lower paying job. I receive a call from a higher up HR employee today trying to smooth things over, but showing no empathy for the position they put me in, and saying he might be able to find me a position, but it won't pay the $15/hr + 4.24/hr for wellness benefits. I tell them it has been a terrible experience and I am no longer interested. I will now see if it's too late to keep my current job.

It started with a text message saying they where very interested and wanted me to join their team. They had me do an online survey, this turned out to be my interview. (Never talked to anyone on the phone yet). The next day after taking the test I got another text message saying they wanted to offer me a job. Stephanie had me download Telegram so we can communicate with the next steps, I downloaded the App. From here is where is got weird. Stephanie send me a "welcome" Video and she seemed to be reading from a script and couldn't keep eye contact . Next she wouldn't answer basic questions like, " how much will be deducted for benefits?" She ignored me. Then she sent me a check Via my Email (This was for computer and a printer) She told me to print the check out cut the check very neatly sign the check and then send me a picture before you submit it to your online mobile banking app. I was not comfortable doing this so I told her I would prefer the company to send me the lap top and printer. Now she wont reply to me. . . . They took my full name, DOB, Address, and just the name of my bank. How do you avoid this kind of thing ?.... Man. Yes their website looked a little fishy should have know right there that it was ti good to be true. On to the next job application . .

Hello. I am not 100% sure this is a scam, but as a retiree from the financial services industry, my knowledge and experience leads to me to think it's very likely. After numerous exchanges by email and after visiting a link, they arranged a phone interview. During the call, asking for more information on what the job entails, I was told I would be processing payments for the business. Of particular interest was during the first 2 weeks or so during training, I would be given corporate funds and I would facilitate transactions through my own personal accounts. At that point I informed them I thought that was highly irregular, at which point the interview ended. This whole affair would be a no no as far as I see, and likely breaches rules regulations regarding money laundering. However, I leave it up to your organization to decide. I just thought it would be wise to share. Thanks in advance.

I was offered a position as Supply Chain Operator. The supervisor said that I would receive packages and that I would need to check

the contents, then ship the product out with a prepaid label that was provided by the company. The position was to pay 2500 a

month with the ability to get bonuses based off work performance. After a month of working for them and sending out requested

packages I contacted my supervisor to ask about compensation since I was not paid yet. My message were sent but I received not

response, I tried writing an email to contact them and still no response . I attempted to call but each time the phone went straight to

voicemail. The thought of some of my personal information being collected is very unnerving and I would hate to have anyone and their family go through what I experienced. At this point I just want to report this issue so nobody has to go through this again.

The scammer appeared very professional, offering a work from home job and payment for services.

Texted through an app called telegram to help hide their identity.

Refused to establish phone calls with me as I was not "eligible". The Almirall website said they conduct phone interviews when this was primarily done through text.

They won’t stop harassing me with a “job offer” but also can’t provide more information when I ask questions about it. I’m told to google it but they won’t tell me what to google. They’ve been calling and texting from multiple phone numbers and more than one person has been emailing me.

The job itself is not described in full by anyone. The promotional process is outrageously quick paced and feels more like a pyramid scheme. To clarify they are not asking for personal investment. The company has only existed for one year, yet totes many connections they claim to have. The link to their website on indeed also redirects to a bitcoin site.

offered 2400 salary plus bonus, was told to pick up packages from far locations, and packages were never there. Also was to inspect packages delivered to our door, and mail them back out from to fed ex or ups. but its a real scam. I have wasted time money, gas, all fro nothing. please help.

Started as a text message to earn money $500.00 a week advertising their product on the door of your car. Then I heard nothing else, till a flat rate envelope arrived with a check enclosed for $3,150.55 from a company I never heard of. Then I received another text to my phone with instructions to deposit check taking $ 500.00 out plus $100.00 for gas money and then send the balanced WHEN requested to the car specialist that would design the door plaque/sign for my door.

Did a phone interview for position in their shipping department, talked to live person during the interview. Filled out all this paperwork to start working with the company remotely, did the job and never got paid for my time.

I was told I was hired as a package inspector and I did work for them for a few weeks, but trying to get someone on the phone or to respond to an email was like pulling teeth. They kept asking me to fill out a W-4 form, but because of the experience I was already having with them I did not. I voiced my concerns about the company being legit and the way business was being handled and they said oh well you can work for a while first to make sure you’re comfortable before providing the W-4. They also provided me with a employee identification number to verify through the IRS site and what looked like some legit legal papers to prove legitimacy. Thankfully I didn’t give up my social security number or bank account info. Sadly they do have my number, address, id, and email. The picture is where I had to login everyday to report package info and where they posted packages to be inspected and shipped. As the payday started approaching I was no longer able to log on and no one will answer calls, text, emails, etc. I also want to add that I was sent to pick up packages from Fed Ex by the company, but the package fid not have my name on it so Fed Ex would not release it to me. I reported this to the company and they sent me back with authorization letters that included the id of the person who’s name is on the package, a note stating I have permission to pickup, and they were also notarized. Fed Ex still did not accept this and would not release the packages. This was another red flag for me. I believe they knew I was on to them because I was very upfront about my concerns with them.

facebook post listed on my account "seeking dependable housekeeper". When contacted thru facebook, people were told they would be helping list real estate. Photos of a listing at the address 1528 7th Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189 were shared with those who contacted the scammer. They then were told to go to facebook marketplace, under "home for rent," and fill in the house listing.

The scammer then shared contact email: [email protected], and phone number (213) 373-3078.
