I'm glad I decided to search the company she stated she was with and little behold its a scam. One I know I don't owe anything and I haven't done anything illegal so I knew Melissa's call was bogus. She talked so fast I had to replay my voicemail 5 times. Yeah she is a block and delete. People be careful they are doing anything around the holidays for money because they are broke low lives that steal for a living

Asked me to call back this number 469.445.7058. I had come here first but called back anyway to find out what they would be trying to do. Transferred me to Black Rock Services and asked for my file number. Then verified my last 2 digits of SS#. Verified my name, used my old last name (I have been married for 10 years now with a different name) They were "attempting to serve documents" at an address I haven't been at in 10 years as well.

Gave me the choice to update my address so they could deliver documents or call back with an attorney to update my address. IF I decided to go the attorney route, it meant I want to take it to court. I said, ok, that sounds great. He then said, ok since you chose the attorney route, I have to end this call... LOL

If I had time to waste, I would keep calling back and play with them.

Same phone call from Fast talking Melissa. Different number. No info for EMI on the website. Reverse lookup for the number is a dud also. NOT today

My phone did not ring all the way, almost like they hung up after the first ring, and how was it possible they could leave a voice mail?...

"Hello this is melissa calling from EMI, i've had a delivery agent out there to the property. address on file etc. contactt 469-445-7058... nothing about failure to comply though.

Same as everyone else. I got the same exact message. No idea what scam they're trying to pull but definitely a scam. Be careful out there!

I received a call as well, they left a VM. A woman speaking so fast it was impossible to understand. She stated someone had been on my property, no one was home to sign some kind of document (?) and that they'd make one more attempt. She stated if their second attempt to get my signature that it'd be listed as failure to comply. The call came from VA. I did attempt to call the phone number left, given I had no idea what this was regarding however my callback failed and an automated voice stated that the number I'd called wasn't accepting calls at this time? My experience was EXACTLY what others have reported, same fastidious message that made the same exact statements as listed by others. This woman used the verbiage "failure to comply" which is a common legal comment, which led me to search the VA phone number. Gratefully I found this site! I now realize it's a scam & they use the exact same message for everyone. ❤

Same thing. Sounds too ridiculous for someone to talk that fast when speaking about something so important. After three listens to the vm, I thought I should google it. So here I am.

They called from 773-526-9098. They want me to call back at 757-447-3561. That sounds shady coming from a really fast talker.

I bet no info right

- San Francisco, CA, USA

A woman calls and talks very, very fast, and says "Hello, this is Alex calling from EMI and I had a delivery agent out there to the property at the address that's on file and he was unsuccessful in getting someone to sign the documents today. Our contact is 480-478-0017. We will only be able to make one more attempt before we return your file for a failure to comply. Again the number is 480-478-0017."

My dad got the same message a little over a week ago front a Melissa saying the same exact thing just a different number

- Temecula, CA, USA

I received a text not long ago. It looked legit because it came from one of those 5 or 6 digit numbers that you use to sign up for alerts for things. It made it sound like USPS tried to deliver a package that needed a signature to my house, and we weren't home. After multiple attempts, it is now at the warehouse. Then it directs you to an area that, for a small fee, they will make another delivery attempt at my chosen date and time. That is how they get credit card information. Luckily, my mother was here throughout the day and knew no one tried to deliver anything. Two weeks later, today, I received two phone calls while at work, with voicemails. One was a local number, and one was not, and the number she left for call-back was also different. They are all listed here. She says an EMI agent was at my house to sign papers for a delivery for the second time. They will make one more attempt, and she will have to consider it a failure to comply.
