Eliassen Group Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

Report

I was approached via email about a phantom job position with a major hotel brand. They were impersonating an EVP of a well known staffing agency. Once I sent my resume, the person sourcing told me the hiring manager wanted to interview me and provided a date and time. They never provided an actual Zoom or Teams meeting link either. However, they proceeded to ask me for additional documentation, which was an operational excellence sheet. What I originally provided, the sourcer told me was wrong and had me connect with a "resume writer" to update it. That's when they charged me for said updated document. After doing so, and sending the updated document, they proceeded to ask me for additional documentation trying get me to work with and pay their "documentation expert" to provide them. After realizing what they were trying to do, I withdrew, blocked and reported them.
