I applied for a remote data entry position. I received an email response saying I didn't get the listed position but there was another position I would be great for. The email instructed me to click on a calendy link to book an interview and to respond to the email. I did neither. here is the portion of the email asking me to set up an interview time: "Choose a time slot here: https://calendly.com/d/ckgy-475-93t". I tried contacting the phone # listed on their website (ecovoyagers.com) and it does not go through - says to call again later. I gave no PII information.

I was applying for jobs on LinkedIn. This company sent an email telling me the position I applied for was filled but they have another remote position they want to speak with me about. They asked me to schedule a Zoom meeting so I did through the provided link. They also requested I replied to their email once I set up the meeting. When I replied the email address was undeliverable. So, obviously it's some time of scam. I wish I would not have provided my information and scared that I clicked the link.

I applied for a remote position on LinkedIn. I got an email after submitting my application, that has all of my contact, home, and address information in it. I got an email asking to schedule a meeting via calendly to speak about opening they had that matched my resume as the other job I had applied for had already been filled. I tried calling the number on the website, and I reached out to them via email to ask who I should speak to at the company. The phone number did not work and I did not receive a response from my email.

It was just my email, name and phone number that I shared with them before realizing it was a scam

I placed an application on LinkedIn for a remote Customer Service position at EcoWay Voyagers. There website seemed a little low budget, but they included a business address with Google Map and a phone number so seemed legit initially. Now that I'm looking at the company's website again, though, it looks suspiciously simply. Can't really do anything on the website except request a contact. So I got an email from them within 12 hours of applying saying my application was received and "advising" that I should schedule a meeting using a hyperlink so they can discuss the company, the role, and compensation with me. The email was signed "-Hiring Manager" at the end and was sent from a generic email address @applytojob.com. I didn't click the link or respond to the email. I guess maybe 5 days later, I got a text from an unknown number with a zip code suspiciously similar to a local zip code that says "Hey ___, it's Edwin, the hiring manager, You applied for our position and after review, we think you'd be a great fit to join our team! We do require new team members to attend our meeting, where we discuss the position, company, and pay. See you on the call soon!" and includes another hyperlink to schedule a meeting. Thankfully I did some research before clicking anything because someone else reported the exact same text, word-for-word, from Edwin the Hiring Manager.
