EasyGoMart website led to fraudulent charges on my debit card

Very similar case to the one described here--attempted to purchase a new pair of running shoes from the website EasyGoMart that are no longer made that I loved having. This was the only website that I could find them on. What should have been a red flag to me was that the payment method page looked shady, using an older PayPal logo in a slightly lower definition than you'd expect. After two or three days of entering my card information in order to buy the shoes, several charges started appearing on my debit card--some for Slice Pizza, some for Uber, one was for a florist for close to 200 dollars. I tried to contact them at [email protected] but got no help. This site should definitely be investigated.

I was researching POC Kortal MTB helmets on Google and an ad for this helmet showed up in the silver color I wanted for only $80 while all the rest of the stores were advertising prices over $110. I went to the site and added the item to my cart and almost checked out via PayPal but chose not to finish as I felt the deal was too good to be true. A few days later I received an email from “EasyGoMart” saying “We noticed you left some items in your cart. If you ran into an issue or just needed more time, we’ve got you covered. Complete your purchase before 2025-05-04 and enjoy an exclusive 20% OFF discount—just for you!”
