Fake Puppy Breeders!

I was engaged in conversations with Drew Galvan a supposedly reputable Breeder listed in the Facebook Group Shiba Inu Owners & Adoption managed by Jane Lynn Hunter about adopting one of his Shiba puppies. He told me they were $600 and he just had one female left. We corresponded through FB messenger. He asked for a security deposit to hold the puppy before I could pick it up over the weekend. However, I decided to do a name check on the guy (because you can never fully trust people online) before I sent him the deposit.

Glad I did! When I did a search for his name (Drew Galvan), I found a complaint against him here on Scam Pulse. It said he had scammed another person out of money for trying to sell Shiba puppies he didn’t have. The guy gave a fake address but took the guy’s money. Luckily, I did not send him money but could have lost $200 he was asking for the deposit. Also, I did reverse lookup on the images of the puppies parents he sent me and clearly both were taken from other people’s sites in the internet!

Beware of this group and of the people below! The lady on Facebook who runs the group (Jane Lynn Hunter)—I messaged her and asked why Drew was on her approved Shiba Inu Breeder list when he’s scamming people and she quickly blocked me and removed me from the group with no response! Drew quickly gave up on responding to me too. This is a huge scam!

I think the whole group is a scam. Jane Lynn Hunter says these people below are on her approved Shiba Inu dog breeding list—but they may all be in on the scam. I wouldn’t trust any of them. Buyer Beware!
