Type of a scam Phishing

I received a legitimate looking letter with D.R. Horton Insurance on the face of the envelope. I opened it, thinking it may be my insurance company since I recently purchased a D.R. Horton home. The letterhead of the letter says - D.R. Horton Insurance Agency, Inc. CA License# 0E44244, 8407 Fallbrook Avenue Suite 200, West Hills, CA 91304. Toll free number: (800) 676-5066. They address me specifically with my address and a fake policy number to make it look official. It states that my Homeowners Insurance renewal is approaching and as my agent they need to make sure they have my Mortgagee name, loan number and other contact details. It suggest that I fill this out and then take a picture with my mobile phone and email it to [email protected]. First thing that stood out to me was that I had recently bought the home so I am not due for a renewal since it was recent, I know the name of my insurance agent and the letter generically states Customer Service Division. Secondly, I didn't think they would ask for that information since they are a sister company to the mortgage company already. Thirdly, D.R. Horton is out of Texas not California. Then I googled the phone number which is for Westwood Insurance out of CA with that address. Westwood Insurance is running a SCAM to phish for your personal loan information, which they then use to request payment from your mortgage escrow to them! I googled the CA license number which came up as a TX license number too. Beware, do not give your mortgage information to Westwood Insurance (or whomever is running this SCAM).
