The individual called stating I had an upcoming procedure they needed to schedule with Dr. Edwin J. Lai, M.D, (Gastroenterology) of which I am not a current patient. They said in order to give me more information they needed my birthdate. I refused and they tried to confirm my name, which was inaccurate as they used my maiden name. That is when I knew they had the wrong individual. I called Dr. Edwin J. Lai’s practice and the individual mentioned they do what they call “recall” contacts. Their outreach campaign is completely deceptive and reduces the integrity of their practice. It comes off as a scam.
