Type of a scam Employment

I got reached out to by a company stating that i applied for a position and hat an interview could be set up and done through Microsoft teams. The email provided a link to connect with the individual at door and security solutions llc names Lori Mcdonald to interview. Started with a serious of normal interview questions and right away they offered me the job and asked me to sing a employment contract and supplied me with an attachment for a I-9 form to fill out. I did not fill out the form and had only provided my basic information that I know can be pulled up in the internet and is public information. I did not continue with the forms and did ask Lori if she had a linked in profile to check who she was and she stated yes and that it would be provided to me during training week.... odd. I did ask for it again, that is a public website and I should be able to just look it up but she does not come up on there. I blocked her on Micrsoft teams and I still have the emails if needed for proof. I called the company directly and spoke to a women that works there and she states that this has been happening and they have been trying to report it and get to the bottom of it. She provided me with the name Lori Mcdonald prior to me giving out the name and stated it is a scam.
