Offered employment off of indeed for this company and their ein number couldn't be found on the lookup and the job offer letter just didn't look right to me.

Employment Scam

Scammer(s) posted a job on Indeed for a company named Zdentist in Oakland, CA for a Volunteer Fulfillment Manager. That was a fake company. I received a call back from Donate Warehouse for the "Volunteer Fulfillment Manager". Shortly after research, Zdentist job posting and company info are gone from Indeed. The only phone number for Donate Warehouse does not work. Articles and Social Media videos are all from 2 months ago (Sept 2024). Several "supporting companies" displayed on their website are fake. No additional information older than August 2024 can be found for the company or any of its representatives. The proposed payment and operational procedures do not match any known procedures in the US. Their website was registered in Sweden. On their website, they list 2 jobs for Engineering roles both for less than $40K a year, for Chicago, IL, USA. Zdentist job posting for Donate Warehouse - pretty elaborate scam.

Charity Employment Scam

The scammer offered a job as a Volunteer Fulfillment Manager. I was told donation packages would be shipped to my house and I would take photos of them and catalog them into scammers website and then wait for a shipping label then send them off. I noticed that the package that came in had a middle eastern name on it and then the shipping label going out had my name and address as the sender instead of the donation center. I tried to contact someone, I even tried to make calls. I got nowhere.
