I received a messenger message from a fellow employee telling me I was listed as a beneficiary for a government grant. She was also. She sent me the contact name and I messaged her. She asked me for some information (not SSN or bank account information) and confirmed. She then said I needed to pay a certain amount in fees when FedEx delivered the grant check. I asked how much the check was for and who they were. I was sent a letter on government letterhead and a fake cover of an annual report with my linked in photo on it. I said no thanks.
