They sent a check for the amount of $1,450 to purchase ebay card in walmart cvs, walgreens.which I purchase send photos and the receipt .my account balance it was $480.now I don't have any balance in my deposit account with appear negative for the amount of $972.42

I received several text messages regarding my first assignment for this group and that my check and more information was in the mail. A day later I received a letter and check for $2450.00 with instructions to deposit the check. $400 was meant for my commission and the rest was meant for visa gift cards that I would purchase and then send them the information for the gift cards and my shopping experience. I never applied for this “job” and I never responded or sent them any information. I’m not sure how they received my address or phone number. The text, letter, and check all contain typos and a different name and phone number regarding the process.

I received a check for $2,450 in the mail saying I can keep $400 and use the rest to buy gift cards and send the gift card info to this number 2202038270

That this was a secret shopper thing and that after I complete this assignment they will send more assignments.

It’s a blue check from singing river federal credit union.
