A "Joanna Davis with Digital Imaging Supplies" called from a blocked number twice (once on 12/10/2024 and again on 12/12/2024) trying to get payment for a past due invoice after claiming that our office ordered 1 unit of toner for our printer in June of 2024. Joanna left a phone number to call back this time (refused the first time and refused to leave a message when prompted by front desk) and a reference number, 4746. When I called a man transferred me to Joanna (sounded like the phone was simply handed over). At first I played along and asked for basic information about the order. I soon confronted her and told her that we only order toner through amazon, for about 20 dollars or so a piece, not $640 for a single unit of toner ($640 and some change). I told her that she was to not call our business again and that I was aware that the number had been flagged for scamming with fake invoices. She then said if we would not pay we would need to return the toner (despite the order having supposedly taken place in June). I told her again not to contact our business or I would file a complaint, and hung up on her.
